Short-Term & Long-Term English Teaching Roles

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a Secondary School English Teacher to work across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in a range of secondary schools. These English teaching jobs offer both short-term and long-term opportunities, making them ideal for teachers seeking flexibility or longer-term career progression.

We are looking for a passionate and motivated English Teacher with a strong classroom demeanour and a commitment to delivering high-quality English education. Role Responsibilities – Secondary English Teacher:

  • Teach English at KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools

  • Inspire a love of English language and literature

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching English in secondary education

  • Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills

  • Passionate about English teaching and learning

  • Dedicated to raising attainment and supporting student development
