Supply English Teacher – Bath
Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS)
Are you a passionate and confident English Teacher looking for flexible work in the Bath area? We are currently seeking a fully qualified English Teacher to work in a supply role, supporting secondary schools as and when cover is required.
This role offers variety and flexibility, with opportunities to work in different schools depending on their needs. You’ll be stepping into classrooms to deliver engaging English lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
The Role:

Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
-
Take control of the classroom and manage behaviour effectively
-
Adapt quickly to new school environments and class settings
-
For short-term supply, you will be responsible for teaching the class using pre-set work
-
For longer-term placements, you may be required to plan lessons and mark work – paid to scale in line with your experience
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Has proven classroom experience teaching English
-
Confident, calm, and able to lead a classroom effectively
-
Flexible and adaptable to different school settings
-
Someone who genuinely enjoys teaching and inspiring young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
