We are recruiting for a qualified English Teacher to join a highly established Sixth Form in Cardiff, South Wales.

Role Responsibilities –

• Delivering IGCSE English Language and Literature and A Level English Literature.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, supporting staff in the delivery of cross-curricular projects and activities.
• Deliver high quality English lessons whilst creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment giving pupils the confidence to excel.
• Monitoring students’ progress ensuring support is given wherever needed.
• Maintaining a positive, inclusive and safe classroom setting that promotes mutual respect and encourages participation.
• Supporting pupil’s who may have special educational needs and implement strategies to help them succeed in English.

What We’re Looking For -

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE.
• Experience in teaching English at Secondary level in the UK.
• A passion for English education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
• Excellent organisation, communication and classroom management skills.
• Strong ability to differentiate lessons effectively to meet and support the needs of learners with Additional Learning Needs.
