Rate of Pay: Minimum of £172.98 (pay to scale)
We are recruiting for a qualified English Teacher to join a highly established Sixth Form in Cardiff, South Wales.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to excel as an English Teacher in one of the UK’s most academically successful sixth forms.

Role Responsibilities –
- Delivering IGCSE English Language and Literature and A Level English Literature.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, supporting staff in the delivery of cross-curricular projects and activities.
- Deliver high quality English lessons whilst creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment giving pupils the confidence to excel.
- Monitoring students’ progress ensuring support is given wherever needed.
- Maintaining a positive, inclusive and safe classroom setting that promotes mutual respect and encourages participation.
- Supporting pupil’s who may have special educational needs and implement strategies to help them succeed in English.
What We’re Looking For -
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE.
- Experience in teaching English at Secondary level in the UK.
- A passion for English education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
- Excellent organisation, communication and classroom management skills.
- Strong ability to differentiate lessons effectively to meet and support the needs of learners with Additional Learning Needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
