Job description

English & Maths Primary Tutor – CH4, Chester

We are looking for a passionate and reliable Primary Tutor to support students in the CH4 area of Chester. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping young learners develop confidence and improve their English and Maths skills.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging English and Maths tuition sessions for primary-aged students
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support
  • Encourage student confidence, progress, and engagement
  • Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience working with children or within education preferred
  • Strong English and Maths knowledge
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods for different learning styles
  • Patient, supportive, and organised approach
  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

Position Details

  • Location: CH4, Chester
  • Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: Part-time / Flexible
  • Pay: Competitive rates available

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
