Job description

Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: Chester, CH1
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Job Type: Part-time / Flexible

Role Overview:
We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to support students in the Chester CH1 area. This role involves working closely with learners who require additional support to help them engage in education and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Provide 1:1 or small group tuition sessions
  • Support students with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback where required

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN preferred
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Patient, flexible, and supportive approach
  • Relevant education, tutoring, or support work experience
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
