Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Education Support Worker to join a specialist Secondary SEN School and College in Bury, supporting young people aged 11-19 with a range of additional needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and develop the skills they need for adulthood. You'll play an important role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom, helping them achieve positive outcomes academically, socially, and emotionally.

What You'll Be Doing

Working as part of a supportive team, you will:

⭐ Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual student needs

⭐ Encourage engagement, participation, and progress in learning

⭐ Support students with communication, emotional regulation, and social development

⭐ Promote independence and essential life skills

⭐ Assist with personal care where required

⭐ Foster positive relationships built on trust, consistency, and encouragement

⭐ Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

⭐ Celebrate every achievement and support students to reach their full potential

Previous experience within education, care, support work, youth work, residential care, SEN settings, or healthcare is desirable, but not essential. A genuine passion for supporting young people and making a positive impact is what matters most.
