Join Our Bank of ECTs – Primary Schools in Norris Green

Location: Norris Green, Liverpool
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Flexible – Day-to-Day and Short-Term Assignments
Pay Rate: £120 – £150 per day (depending on experience)

Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain experience across a variety of primary schools? We are building a strong bank of ECTs to work in Norris Green and surrounding areas, starting from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your teaching skills, build confidence, and secure long-term opportunities while enjoying flexibility.

About the Role

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Adapt to different classroom environments and year groups
  • Support pupils’ learning and progress in line with the national curriculum
  • Gain valuable experience and build relationships with local schools

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS and is in their early career stage
  • Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
  • Has a DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply

  • Bus: Frequent services including the 14, 17, and 19 run to Liverpool city centre (approx. 20–25 minutes).
  • Train: Nearby stations such as Fazakerley and Broad Green offer quick links to Liverpool Lime Street.
  • Road: Easy access via the M57 and Queens Drive, ideal for commuters.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
