EYFS Teaching Assistant - Poulton-le-Fylde (FY6)
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at a welcoming primary school in Poulton-le-Fylde.
This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting young children during the crucial early stages of their education. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping children develop socially, emotionally, and academically within a nurturing learning environment.
The Role
- Supporting children within the EYFS classroom on a one-to-one and small group basis.
- Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and creative learning activities.
- Encouraging children's communication, language, and social development.
- Supporting pupils with varying abilities to access learning and achieve their potential.
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Assisting with observations and contributing to children's learning journeys where required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children in an EYFS or primary school setting is desirable.
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- A patient, nurturing, and positive approach to supporting young learners.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for education and child development.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
