Job Title: EYFS Supply Teacher
Location: Washington, Tyne and Wear
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Flexible (Day‑to‑day and Long‑term opportunities available)
Daily Rate: From £130+ (dependent on experience)

We work closely with a number of fantastic primary schools who are committed to providing nurturing, creative, and high‑quality Early Years education. Whether you are seeking consistency or variety, we can offer roles that fit around your lifestyle and career goals.
This is a great opportunity for both ECTs and experienced EYFS practitioners to inspire young learners through play‑based, child‑centred teaching—without the additional pressures of planning or marking for short‑term cover.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, play‑based learning across Nursery and Reception
- Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating EYFS environment
- Support early language, social, and physical development
- Adapt confidently to different school settings
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils throughout the day
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS with EYFS experience
- Confident working within Nursery and/or Reception settings
- Strong communication and nurturing skills
- Holds (or willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS
- Able to provide references for the last 24 months
- Reliable, flexible, and comfortable with short‑notice bookings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
