Location: Washington, Tyne and Wear
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Flexible (Day‑to‑day and Long‑term opportunities available)
Daily Rate: From £130+ (dependent on experience)

This is a great opportunity for both ECTs and experienced EYFS practitioners to inspire young learners through play‑based, child‑centred teaching—without the additional pressures of planning or marking for short‑term cover.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, play‑based learning across Nursery and Reception
• Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating EYFS environment
• Support early language, social, and physical development
• Adapt confidently to different school settings
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils throughout the day

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS with EYFS experience
• Confident working within Nursery and/or Reception settings
• Strong communication and nurturing skills
• Holds (or willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS
• Able to provide references for the last 24 months
• Reliable, flexible, and comfortable with short‑notice bookings
