Reception Class Teacher

Tatham, Lancashire (LA2)
September 2026 Start
Full-Time | Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the Tatham (LA2) area to recruit a Reception Teacher for a September 2026 start.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers seeking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking school.


About the Role:

  • Full-time responsibility for a Reception class
  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Support pupils’ early development across all learning areas
  • Plan, assess and monitor progress effectively
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and parents to ensure positive outcomes

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have a solid understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Be passionate about Early Years education
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • Be proactive, reliable, and committed to high standards of teaching
