Are you an EYFS Specialist Teacher? Are you currently seeking a full time teaching commitment?

An opportunity for an EYFS Specialist Teacher has arisen within a reputable Primary School in PRESTON, LANCASHIRE. EARLY CAREER Teachers and experienced Teachers are welcome to apply. The role is to begin from November 2025, The Head teacher will seek to shortlist for interview based on hitting the following criteria:

-A teacher with Qualified Teacher Status

-Recent experience working as a class teacher in an EYFS department

-Up to date knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum and the pedagogy to support this

-Strong behaviour management, strong classroom presence and awareness of school policies

-Flexibility to attend after school INSET sessions, staff meetings and extra-curricular clubs

The support for children on Free School Meals and the children who receive funding for Special Educational Needs is also excellent across school and monitored effectively by the dedicated SENCO. As a teaching member of staff, you will be well supported by the Head teacher and from the SENCO. Both are typically involved in the day-to-day running of the school and will ensure any adverse behaviour is dealt with accordingly in line with the school’s policy.

• Differentiate to meet the needs of all pupils
• Utilise Teaching Assistants when available
• Commit to the wider life of the school and the community of the school
• Attend CPD sessions
• Safeguarding pupils
• Commit to the school’s Coivd-19 measures to ensure safety of all in the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
