Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Floating Cover Teacher – KS2

Location: Primary School in L13, Liverpool
Start Date: Easter 2025 – End of Academic Year
Contract Type: Supply Contract (via Teaching Personnel)

Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to make a difference in the classroom and beyond? We have a fantastic opportunity for a flexible, motivated educator to join a welcoming primary school in L13 as a Floating Cover Teacher. This is a rewarding role where you’ll support Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils academically and pastorally, ensuring they thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Your Role:

  • Cover Teaching: Deliver engaging lessons across various KS2 classes, ensuring continuity of learning.
  • Pastoral Support: Work closely with pupils, offering emotional and social guidance to promote wellbeing and positive behaviour.
  • Flexible and Adaptable: Step into different classrooms to provide cover as needed, building strong relationships with staff and pupils alike.
  • Collaborative Approach: Work with teaching staff and the leadership team to support school objectives and pupil development.

  • Qualified ECT with a passion for teaching and a flexible, can-do attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment for all learners.
  • Ability to manage behaviour positively and inspire pupils to achieve their best.
