Early Career Teachers (ECTs) – Primary Supply Roles

Location: Norris Green (L11) and surrounding areas
Start Date: September 2026
Position Type: Flexible supply work – day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities
Pay Rate: £120–£150 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic ECTs to join our expanding supply team, supporting primary schools across Norris Green and neighbouring areas from September 2026. Whether you're looking to explore different school environments, gain experience across year groups, or secure a pathway into a long-term or permanent role, supply teaching offers the perfect opportunity to kick-start your career.

The Role

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and school environments
  • Support pupils' learning and development in line with the national curriculum
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and local schools
  • Gain broad teaching experience to strengthen your professional practice

We're Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or are due to achieve QTS in 2026
  • Are enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to develop their teaching career
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Have a DBS registered on the Update Service, or are willing to apply for one
  • Are committed to making a positive impact on pupils' learning experiences

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
