Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Primary Schools in Doncaster

Start Date: Flexible / Ongoing
Contract Type: Full-time & Part-time roles available
Pay: £120 - £200 (dependent on role and experience)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a range of supportive and welcoming primary schools across Doncaster to recruit Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin or continue their teaching journey.

This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified teachers to gain valuable classroom experience, develop confidence, and find the right school environment with the support of an experienced education recruitment team.

The Role:

  • Teaching across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (depending on placement and preference)

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs

  • Working collaboratively with experienced teachers and support staff

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is due to qualify

  • Is an ECT looking to gain experience in primary schools

  • Is enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to develop teaching practice

  • Demonstrates good classroom organisation and communication skills

  • Is committed to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
