Teaching Personnel is recruiting Secondary School Drama Teachers to teach Drama at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in a variety of secondary schools. These Drama teacher jobs include both short-term supply teaching and long-term Drama teaching roles, offering flexibility alongside opportunities for career progression.
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Secondary Drama Teacher with a strong classroom demeanour and a passion for delivering high-quality Drama and Performing Arts education. This role is ideal for a teacher who wants to make a real difference by building students’ confidence, creativity, and performance skills.
Role Responsibilities – Secondary Drama Teacher:

Teach Drama at KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based Drama lessons

Maintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour strategies

Assess, monitor, and support student progress in Drama

Encourage creativity, collaboration, and expressive performance
Person Specification:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Experience teaching Drama or Performing Arts in secondary education

Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills

Passion for Drama, theatre, and creative learning

Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
