Teaching Personnel is recruiting Secondary School Drama Teachers to teach Drama at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in a variety of secondary schools. These Drama teacher jobs include both short-term supply teaching and long-term Drama teaching roles, offering flexibility alongside opportunities for career progression.

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Secondary Drama Teacher with a strong classroom demeanour and a passion for delivering high-quality Drama and Performing Arts education. This role is ideal for a teacher who wants to make a real difference by building students’ confidence, creativity, and performance skills.

Role Responsibilities – Secondary Drama Teacher:

• Teach Drama at KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based Drama lessons

• Maintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour strategies

• Assess, monitor, and support student progress in Drama

• Encourage creativity, collaboration, and expressive performance

Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Drama or Performing Arts in secondary education

• Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills

• Passion for Drama, theatre, and creative learning

• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student development
