You would be responsible for planning and delivering engaging practical lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring a safe and well‑managed workshop environment.
What we are looking for:
- Creative and innovative, able to design engaging practical lessons that inspire students.
- Passionate about design and technology, bringing enthusiasm and real-world relevance to lessons.
- Clear communicator, capable of explaining technical processes in an accessible way to pupils of all abilities.
- Strong practical and technical skills across DT specialisms, with confidence using tools, machinery, and materials safely.
You would be paid to your teaching scale point (M1 – UPS3) £168.80 - £261.78 per day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
