Design & Technology Teacher – Blandford Forum
Teaching Personnel is working with a secondary school in Blandford Forum to recruit a passionate and creative Design & Technology Teacher.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire students through practical, engaging and challenging lessons, helping them develop both their technical knowledge and creative problem-solving skills.
The Role:
- Teach Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan and deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons.
- Support students in developing their design and making skills.
- Prepare students for relevant examinations and assessments.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of individual students.
- Monitor and assess student progress.
- Promote safe working practices within practical lessons.
- Work collaboratively with the wider DT department.
- Contribute to the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate:
- QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology.
- Experience teaching within a secondary school.
- Confident delivering practical lessons.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Creative, enthusiastic and committed to student development.
- Able to inspire students of different abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
