Design & Technology Technician | Northamptonshire

We are looking for a practical, organised and proactive Design & Technology Technician to support a busy and successful DT department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with technical skills who enjoys working in an educational environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing materials and equipment for lessons
  • Maintaining workshop machinery and tools
  • Supporting health and safety procedures
  • Assisting teaching staff and students during practical activities
  • Managing stock and ordering resources

We're Looking For:

  • Strong organisational and practical skills
  • Previous workshop, engineering, manufacturing or school technician experience desirable
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
