The Role

• Prepare materials, tools and equipment for practical DT lessons.
• Maintain workshops, machinery and resources to ensure a safe learning environment.
• Support teachers during practical sessions and demonstrations.
• Monitor stock levels and order materials when required.
• Assist with the maintenance, repair and organisation of equipment.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Help create engaging learning environments that inspire students.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a workshop, engineering, manufacturing, construction, or school-based environment is desirable.
• Good practical and technical skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and safe use of equipment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive, flexible and proactive approach to work.
