Are you looking for a permanent DT Teacher role where you can join a Good school in Trafford?

We are seeking to appoint a successful DT Teacher to begin at a Good secondary school in Trafford from January 2020 on a full time, temporary to permanent basis.

This post is open to all qualified DT teachers, regardless of whether they are an NQT or a more experienced practitioner.

As a DT Teacher, you will be able to confidently deliver lessons to KS3 and KS4 so a background in resistant materials, graphics, textiles or food technology would be desirable, and strong subject knowledge is essential. You will be teaching across the range of abilities so the capability to differentiate and tailor lessons to appropriate levels, as well as being able to adapt content during lessons is vital to success in this DT role.

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be available for full time work from January 2020
  • Must have QTS in the UK – both experienced teachers and NQTs are welcome to apply
  • Must have suitable school-based references
  • Must be willing and able to apply for a fully enhanced DBS certificate
