Design & Technology Teacher / Technician – Full-Time

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with one of our secondary schools to recruit a creative and practical Design & Technology Teacher for a full-time role. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys hands-on learning and inspiring students to design, create, and problem-solve in a workshop and classroom setting.

The Role:

Deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4

Teach practical and theory elements such as product design, resistant materials, graphics, or CAD/CAM

Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking

Maintain a safe, well-managed, and inclusive learning environment

Support the wider DT department as required

The Ideal Candidate:

Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology

Confident with practical classroom and workshop management

Creative, organized, and enthusiastic about teaching

Recent experience teaching DT in UK secondary schools
