Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

The Opportunity
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop practical skills, creativity, and confidence. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school where innovation and student achievement are highly valued.
Your responsibilities will include:

Teaching Design & Technology to students across KS3 and KS4.

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering or Graphics.

Creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving and independent learning.

Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support achievement.

Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and contribute to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you should have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Design & Technology within a secondary school setting.

Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, practical lessons.
-
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
-
An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
