Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher for a full-time position in Northampton and the surrounding areas, starting immediately.

This is an exciting opportunity to join supportive secondary schools committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering creativity, innovation, and practical skills in students.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging DT lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

• Specialisms in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering or Food Technology welcomed

• Plan, prepare and assess students’ work in line with national curriculum standards

• Maintain a safe and stimulating workshop/classroom environment

• Contribute positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching DT at secondary level

• Strong classroom management skills

• A passion for practical learning and student development

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
