Job description

A mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Dance lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop both their technical skills and creative expression. The school is looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic about Dance and committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching Dance within a secondary school setting

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and the ability to motivate students of varying abilities

  • Be creative, organised and committed to supporting students’ academic and personal development

  • Be able to start immediately and commit to a full-time timetable
