Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit QTS qualified Primary School Teachers to support within our many schools across CB1, CB2, CB3, CB4 and CB5. We currently service around 30-40 schools on a weekly basis and can offer regular work with a flexible timetable. If you are beginning your teaching journey and are looking to get experience across the board in key stages, supply work is a fantastic source of variety of work and enables you to build your skills in areas such as behaviour management and curriculum development.

As a Primary Teacher working through Teaching Personnel, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment

Who We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Recent and relevant experience teaching in UK primary schools
  • A confident and adaptable teaching approach
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A positive, reliable, and professional attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
