D&T Teacher - Resistant Materials (Part-Time)
Job description
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Uppingham (LE15) to recruit a Design & Technology Teacher specialising in Resistant Materials.
This is a part-time role (15 hours per week), with no fixed days at present, offering flexibility for the right candidate. The position is to start as soon as possible.
The Role:

Teaching D&T with a focus on Resistant Materials at secondary level

Planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons
-
Supporting pupils’ creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving
-
Working collaboratively within a supportive D&T department
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
-
Have experience teaching Resistant Materials at secondary level
-
Be confident managing practical workshops safely and effectively
-
Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
