D&T Teacher - Resistant Materials (Part-Time)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Uppingham (LE15) to recruit a Design & Technology Teacher specialising in Resistant Materials.

This is a part-time role (15 hours per week), with no fixed days at present, offering flexibility for the right candidate. The position is to start as soon as possible.

The Role:

• Teaching D&T with a focus on Resistant Materials at secondary level

• Planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons

• Supporting pupils’ creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving

• Working collaboratively within a supportive D&T department

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching Resistant Materials at secondary level

• Be confident managing practical workshops safely and effectively

• Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to student progress
