Job Title: Cover Teacher - Reading

Qualifications:

Degree

Job Duties:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour according to school policies
  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for students
  • Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Hold a Degree in Education or related field
  • Valid teaching certification
  • Knowledge of UK curriculum and educational standards

Education:

Degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Prior experience in teaching or education sector preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and learning needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time hours, temporary position
  • Work within a school setting
  • Collaborate with school staff and students
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
