SEN Cover Supervisor – Birkenhead

Support. Motivate. Inspire.

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Cover Supervisor to join a specialist Secondary SEN & Alternative Provision setting in Thrapston on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

You will support students across KS3 & KS4 with SEN, SEMH, and behavioural needs, helping to create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.

Role Details

  • Location: Birkenhead
  • Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Pay: £100 – £130 per day 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise classes and deliver pre-set lessons
  • Support students with SEN, SEMH, and behavioural needs
  • Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams

Requirements

  • Experience within SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision preferred
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Patient, adaptable, and confident approach
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required
