Are you seeking to gain valuable practical experience working as an unqualified teacher/cover supervisor within a Secondary school setting? Do you wish to develop your experience covering lessons, managing behaviour in class and working with young people within an education setting?

If you wish to be considered for this exceptional opportunity to work as a cover supervisor within a range of Secondary schools located across the Salford Local Education Authority (LEA);

  • Full time and flexible part-time cover supervisor opportunities available.
  • Develop your experience supporting the teaching and learning of young people across a range of subject areas.
  • Earn up to GBP350 per week whilst gaining invaluable hands-on experience in support of your UCAS application.
  • Must hold a degree level qualification alongside transferable experience working with young people.

This exciting cover supervisor/unqualified teacher role if the ideal opportunity to gain the necessary skills and experience for those considering a career within the Education sector. The ideal candidate will ideally have previous experience working with young people within an education/support capacity.

As the incoming cover supervisor/unqualified teacher you will be responsible for;

  • Covering pre-set lessons in the absence of class teachers (class work is provided).
  • Manage and supervise behaviour to ensure set tasks are completed.
  • Covering a variety of subjects working with a range of pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4.
