Cover Supervisor - Teaching Assistant

Leeds LS25

Start - ASAP

Are you passionate about education and interested in working in schools and beginning a career in education? Are you excited about the opportunity of helping students in schools?

Are you looking for paid work to increase your experience?

Are you a graduate with a 2:1 or above? Or a university student that is available a couple of days a week? 

Our West Yorkshire Secondary Branch are working with a secondary school in Leeds LS25, that are looking for enthusiastic and inspiring Cover Supervisors and teaching assistants in a mainstream school. This role requires applicants to supervise pre-planned work in the classroom when a teacher is absent to ensure that students remain up to date and productive with any additional help/structure they may be entitled too.

Successful candidate will include:

-          Confident and enthusiastic

-          Experience working with young people

-          Good organisational and management skills

-          Drive to work in education

-          Good problem-solving skills

Those interested in the role will also need to have a DBS on the update service – we will be able to help with this process if you do not have one yet.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
