Are you located in or around the LS10 postcode area? I am looking for Cover Supervisors to work daily supply in my partner school. A Cover Supervisor is a very important role in the school and must possess excellent behaviour management skills.

The role of a Cover Supervisor:

  • Lead the classroom – deliver pre-planned work
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively – referring to the school behaviour policy
  • Keeping the classroom tidy and reporting back to senior leadership
  • Assisting with other teachers to help support and promote positive learning throughout

My client is a thriving, all ability, multi-cultural school with 1500 students, aged 11-16. With an increase in Year 7 intake, my client now has waiting lists for every year group. My client combines the benefits of a large school, with its many opportunities to study a wide range of subjects, with a friendly environment which is socially and culturally diverse. Despite the schools size, the expertise of student care ensures that each student is cared for as an individual. All staff work tirelessly to create the environment where our students are safe, secure and happy.

We are looking for Cover Supervisors who:

  • Have worked in UK secondary schools previously
  • Can adapt to new situations quickly & have the ability to think on your feet
  • Have an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people
  • Can hold QTS, but not necessary
  • Have a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service OR BE WILLING TO DO SO.
