Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors for immediate working opportunities within a number of secondary schools in the Wigan LEA.

  • Full and part-time opportunities available.
  • Earning potential of up to £1200 a month.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to seek immediate flexible work where they can support the learning of pupils who are aged between 11-16.  If you are an experience Cover Supervisor or someone who wishes to gain classroom experience ahead of a teacher training course in September 2019 then we wish to hear from you.

This is an opportunity to provide classroom cover in the absence of a class teacher, supervising the lesson and following a pre-planned lessons to ensure that students stay up to date with their learning.

Requirements and characteristics needed for this role;

  • Experience as a Cover Supervisor is desirable but not essential.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about a career in education.
  • Will be passionate in educating students within school.
  • Confident with strong behaviour management skills.
  • Flexible and able to supervise students across a broad range of subjects.

We are working with a number of secondary schools across the full Wigan LEA currently and have working opportunities on both a full and part-time basis. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
