Introducing Teaching Personnel’s Future Teachers Programme

Teaching Personnel’s Future Teachers Graduate Scheme is a programme created to assist any graduates considering a career as a secondary school teacher in the future. The unique scheme assists graduates local to the Greater Manchester area to gain invaluable school-based experience prior to securing Initial Teacher Training Programme or gaining a place on a PGCE course.

The FTP involves working in one of our partner secondary schools as a Learning Support Assistant on a 12-month basis prior to starting your Teacher Training the following year. In some cases, the successful applicant will be put through their training within the same school or alternatively they will begin their PGCE independently with a job waiting for them upon their return.

For first hand accounts on our FTP, please follow the link below to see what some of our successful Future Teachers thought of their experience:

Benefits

This is a paid opportunity whereby you will have the opportunity to earn money (£1500 - £1700 per month) whilst learning and building the essential skillset to become a successful teacher.
