Maths Intervention Specialist

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mathematics Intervention Specialist to join one of our client secondary schools in Stockport. In this role, you will be responsible for running intervention sessions to support students in their mathematical development.

You will earn a competitive salary between £425 and £500 per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons to small groups of students.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Identify areas where students need additional support and tailor intervention sessions accordingly.
• Collaborate with school staff members to ensure all students receive the necessary support.

Requirements:

• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
• Passion for teaching and helping young people achieve their full potential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• You will be required to undergo a fully enhanced child workforce DBS check to ensure that you are a suitable candidate to work with schools.
• You will be required to provide a minimum of two employment-based references to cover the last 24 months of your work history.
