Cover Supervisors are required for a September start across the East and West Sussex area.

Teaching Personnel work with various Secondary school across East and West Sussex; locations include, but are not limited to, Brighton, Hove, Littlehampton, Worthing, Lewes, Newhaven and Eastbourne.Roles vary between long term and day to day supply, as well as some after school hours.
The main role of a CS is to ensure safe supervision of students in the classroom, while their primary teachers are absent. This is an exciting opportunity as the successful candidates will be working across a range of different schools and within different departments.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the supervision of students in the classroom.
- Ensuring work set by the classroom teacher is carried out to a satisfactory standard.
- Communicating with staff and students.
- Leading by example, always.
- Adhering to school policies in line with safeguarding and behaviour protocol.
In the role of Cover Supervisor, you will
- Have good communication skills.
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Have some experience working with young people.
- Have a DBS already on the Update Service or the willingness to complete a new DBS application.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
