Location: Wirral

About the Role

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of secondary schools in the Wirral.

This role is ideal for individuals with previous school-based experience who are confident managing a classroom and ensuring a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise classes during teacher absence
  • Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task
  • Maintain a calm, focused, and productive classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a secondary school setting is essential
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom control skills
  • Confidence leading groups of students independently
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive, flexible, and professional approach
