Cover Supervisors Required – Warrington Secondary Schools
Location: Warrington
Start Date: September
Contract Type: Full-time, Part-time, or Flexible
Salary: £92.63 - £100 per day (dependent on experience and school)
We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and professional Cover Supervisors to support a number of secondary schools across Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and looking to gain valuable classroom experience while making a positive impact on students' learning and development.
Role Overview
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classes during short-term teacher absences. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students' learning and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Ensuring continuity of education in the absence of teaching staff
- Encouraging student engagement and participation throughout lessons
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate:
- Experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, or similar setting
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A proactive, professional, and adaptable approach
- Confidence leading a classroom and managing student behaviour effectively
- An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
