Day-to-Day Cover Supervisor – Warrington

Teaching Personnel is seeking a strong, flexible, and reliable Day-to-Day Cover Supervisor for roles available ASAP and from September in secondary schools across Warrington and surrounding areas. This position is ideal for individuals interested in working in education who are looking for flexible, day-to-day work.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-prepared lessons, maintaining positive classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning. This role offers valuable experience in a secondary school setting and supports the development of classroom management and student support skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a safe learning environment
  • Supporting students with their learning and responding to questions
  • Liaising with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
  • Assisting with administrative tasks and other school activities as required
  • Providing feedback on lesson coverage and student engagement
  • Maintaining clear communication with schools and Teaching Personnel

Requirements:

  • A degree in any subject
  • Experience working with young people (educational experience preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in classroom management
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude
  • A genuine passion for education and student development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
