Job description

Location – Swansea & West Wales

Pay – £105 - £115 per day

Hours – 08:30-15:30 (NO WEEKENDS!)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the usual teacher
  • Manage the classroom and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Ensure students are engaged in the assigned tasks and provide support as needed
  • Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies

Qualifications

  • GCSE (at least 5 C’s) must have English and Maths
  • Level 2 certificate in Support Teaching and Learning (desired but not essential)
  • Certificate of higher education (desired but not essential)

Requirements

  • A passion for education and working with young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work across different subjects and year groups
  • Previous experience working with children or within education is desired but not essential
