Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools throughout South Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, youth workers, sports coaches, or anyone with experience working with young people.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with pre-planned work and maintaining a positive learning environment.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work.
• Support a positive and productive learning environment.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and progress.
• Work flexibly across a variety of subjects and school settings.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who:

• Have experience working with children or young people.
• Possess strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Are confident leading groups of students independently.
• Can adapt quickly to different school environments.
• Hold a degree (desirable but not essential).
• Are considering a future career in teaching or education.
