Teaching Personnel is seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work in a partner secondary school in the Hope Valley area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience and support students in a structured school environment.

This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, graduates, or those with experience working with young people.

About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes during the absence of the regular teacher.

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects.

• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task.

• Manage behaviour in line with school policies.

• Provide basic support and answer questions where appropriate.

• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

• Assist with break or lunchtime supervision if required.

About You
We are looking for a Cover Supervisor who:

• Has experience working with young people.

• Is confident managing groups of students.

• Has strong communication and organisational skills.

• Is adaptable, reliable, and calm under pressure.

• Is committed to safeguarding and student welfare.

• Holds, or is willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS check.
