Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to work in Secondary Schools across Rushden.

If you are an aspiring teacher, a graduate looking to gain classroom experience, or an experienced educator looking to support students on a flexible basis. we want to hear from you. We have an immediate start available for the right candidate.  

 

The Role

As a Cover supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that learning continues even when the class teacher is absent. You will be responsible for:

- Classroom Management - Ensuring a calm, focused, and productive learning environment.

- Delivering Pre-planned work - You are not required to plan lessons; you will manage work already set by the permanent teacher.

- Supporting Students - Assisting students with their tasks, answering questions, and keeping them on track.

- Maintaining Standards - Following school policies regarding behaviour and discipline.#

- Confident- You must be able to lead a classroom and manage behaviour effectively.

- Reliable - Punctuality and consistency are essential.

- Adaptable - Comfortable working in different schools and engaging with diverse groups of students.

- Education Focused: A degree, previous experience working with children, or a background in youth work is highly desirable.

 

Requirements

- A valid Enhanced Child workforce DBS ( or be willing to apply for one).

- Right to work in the UK.

- References from previous employers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
