Location: Brecon, Powys area
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday |  Full-Time (Term Time, Fixed Term)
Pay Rate: £105.00-£125.00 per day

Experienced Cover Supervisor

Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor or an aspiring teacher looking to build valuable classroom experience within a supportive and inspiring secondary school environment?

We are seeking a confident and professional Cover Supervisor to join a fantastic historic secondary school in the Brecon, Powys area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a future career in teaching, as well as experienced Cover Supervisors who thrive in a classroom setting and are passionate about supporting young people.

The Role

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Maintain strong classroom management and positive behaviour standards.
  • Support students' learning and engagement throughout the school day.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
  • Encourage pupils to develop confidence, resilience, and high aspirations.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or working with secondary-aged pupils.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Confident leading classes independently.
  • Passionate about supporting young people to achieve their best.
  • Interested in pursuing a teaching career or developing further experience within education.
  • Adaptable, professional, and enthusiastic.
