Cover Supervisor – Flexible Day-to-Day Work (KS3 & KS4)
Location: Leicestershire
Pay: £100–£140 per day (depending on experience)
Job Type: Flexible / Day-to-Day Supply

We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Leicestershire, delivering general cover across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

This role offers flexible day-to-day work, with bookings that can be pre-booked in advance or offered on the morning of the assignment. It is a great opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work within schools.

The Role

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences across multiple subjects

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans provided by the school

  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students stay on task

  • Provide feedback to the school following the lesson

Bookings can vary from full-day cover to hourly cover throughout the day, depending on the school's needs.

Requirements

  • Confidence leading a classroom of secondary students

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

  • Experience working with young people is desirable

  • Access to a car is beneficial, as schools are located across Leicestershire

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
