Cover Supervisor – Supply Role

Location: Bradford
Pay: Competitive Daily Rate
Contract: Flexible Supply (Full-Time & Part-Time Available)
Start Date: Immediate

Are you confident leading a classroom and passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential? We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis across a variety of secondary schools in Bradford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants, graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with previous experience working within UK secondary schools.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

✅ Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
✅ Manage classroom behaviour effectively and professionally
✅ Ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons
✅ Create a positive and productive learning environment
✅ Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding lesson outcomes
✅ Build positive relationships with students and school staff

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

✔️ Previous experience working within UK secondary schools
✔️ Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
✔️ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
✔️ A flexible and adaptable approach to work
✔️ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
✔️ The right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
