Wimbledon & Surrounding Areas | Immediate Start
Short-Term, Long-Term & Day-to-Day Cover

Are you a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor looking for flexible work across secondary schools in Wimbledon and the surrounding South West London areas?

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a range of mainstream secondary schools who are seeking adaptable Cover Supervisors to provide last-minute and pre-booked cover, ensuring continuity of learning when teachers are absent.

About the Role

  • Supervising classes across KS3–KS4 using pre-set lesson plans

  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment

  • Opportunities across Wimbledon, Merton, Kingston, Sutton, and nearby areas

  • Day-to-day, short-term, and longer-term roles available

  • Ideal for candidates who can accept early-morning (7am) calls for same-day cover

  • Full-time and part-time flexibility

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Previous experience working with young people (school-based experience preferred)
✔️ Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management
✔️ Flexibility and reliability, including availability for last-minute bookings
✔️ Ability to travel to local schools at short notice
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
