Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic, energetic and sport-minded PE Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Bridgend area. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, sports coaches, teaching assistants or anyone with strong behaviour-management skills looking to gain hands-on school experience.
About the Role
As a PE Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise PE lessons and practical sessions in the absence of the class teacher
- Deliver pre-planned activities and ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
- Support behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment
- Work across KS3 and KS4, supporting whole-school cover when required
- Be a proactive, reliable member of the school team
We’re Looking For
- A background in sports, coaching, education, or working with young people
- Confident communication and strong behaviour-management skills
- A positive, resilient attitude and a passion for helping pupils succeed
- Availability during school hours (08:30–15:30)
- A Child Workforce Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
