Core Subjects Tutor – Nottinghamshire
Teaching Personnel | £25–£30 per hour

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Core Subjects Tutors to provide high-quality tuition in English, Maths, and Science to students across Nottinghamshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by supporting learners at various stages of their academic journey.

Position Details:

  • Location: Nottinghamshire (various locations available, with remote options)

  • Subjects: English, Maths, and/or Science

  • Rate of Pay: £25–£30 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

  • Contract Type: Flexible – part-time and full-time opportunities available

  • Start Date: Immediate or negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored sessions that meet the individual needs of each student

  • Support academic progress by building subject knowledge, confidence, and study skills

  • Adapt teaching approaches to suit diverse learning styles and abilities

  • Provide regular, constructive feedback on student progress

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching or tutoring English, Maths, or Science

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed) is preferred

  • Strong planning, communication, and organisational skills

  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
