An established all-girls secondary school in the Liverpool area is looking to appoint a passionate, fully qualified Computer Science Teacher to join its highly committed teaching team. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and academic progress.
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to uphold the school’s strong culture of respect and positive conduct.
• Support departmental development and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the curriculum.
• Regularly assess student work and provide meaningful, constructive feedback.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to the school’s supportive and values-driven environment.

Person Specification

Essential

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stage 4.
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
• Confident behaviour management skills and a commitment to maintaining high classroom standards.
• A passion for empowering young women to achieve in Computer Science.

Desirable

• Previous experience in an all-girls school.
• Knowledge of GCSE Computer Science curriculum and assessment requirements.
