Computer Science Teacher – Full Time, Permanent
All-Girls Secondary School – Liverpool

An established all-girls secondary school in the Liverpool area is seeking a motivated and fully qualified Computer Science Teacher to join its committed and forward-thinking teaching team. The school is well regarded for its calm, inclusive atmosphere, strong academic focus, and consistently Good Ofsted rating. Pupils behave well, enjoy their learning, and benefit greatly from teachers’ strong subject knowledge and high expectations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator who can deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students to develop confidence, curiosity, and strong digital skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Support students in achieving excellent outcomes by maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and progress.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive, focused classroom environment in line with the school’s reputation for strong conduct and respectful relationships.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous departmental improvement.
- Assess student work regularly and provide meaningful, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the school’s supportive culture and shared values.
Person Specification
Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stage 4.
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to engage, motivate, and inspire learners.
- Effective behaviour management and a commitment to maintaining high classroom standards.
- A passion for supporting young women to excel in Computer Science.
Desirable
- Experience teaching in an all-girls school environment.
- Familiarity with GCSE Computer Science curriculum and assessment requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
