An established all-girls secondary school in the Liverpool area is seeking a motivated and fully qualified Computer Science Teacher to join its committed and forward-thinking teaching team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator who can deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students to develop confidence, curiosity, and strong digital skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Support students in achieving excellent outcomes by maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and progress.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive, focused classroom environment in line with the school’s reputation for strong conduct and respectful relationships.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous departmental improvement.
• Assess student work regularly and provide meaningful, constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the school’s supportive culture and shared values.

Person Specification

Essential

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stage 4.
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to engage, motivate, and inspire learners.
• Effective behaviour management and a commitment to maintaining high classroom standards.
• A passion for supporting young women to excel in Computer Science.

Desirable

• Experience teaching in an all-girls school environment.
• Familiarity with GCSE Computer Science curriculum and assessment requirements.
