An established all girls secondary school in the Liverpool area is seeking an enthusiastic, qualified, and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join its thriving department. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Computer Science lessons at KS3 and KS4.
• Support students in achieving excellent outcomes, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and progress.
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a focused, respectful, and positive learning environment.
• Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and departmental improvement.
• Regularly assess student work, providing constructive and supportive feedback.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold the school’s values and commitment to student success.

Person Specification

Essential

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stage 4.
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and engage learners.
• Confident classroom management and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• A passion for empowering young women to achieve and thrive within STEM and Computer Science.

Desirable

• Experience working in an all-girls school.
• Familiarity with GCSE Computer Science specifications and assessment requirements.
